Indoor Picnic Area and Outside Accessible Picnic Tables

Bring your own picnic, take a break and unwind in our indoor seating area in the old railway waiting room or in the garden. Our accessible picnic tables on the station platform are also available for museum visitors

Whilst our coffee shop is currently closed, visitors are invited to bring their own picnic, sandwiches, snacks, or refreshments and relax and enjoy a comfortable place to sit, eat, and unwind.

Whether you’re escaping a rain shower, taking a break during a walk, or simply looking for a cosy spot to enjoy your lunch, our waiting room offers a warm and welcoming space for everyone.
