Visual
- We have RNIB PENfriends available to take around with you whilst you visit. These portable, pen-shaped audio devices enable users to hear all about some of our exhibits using audio descriptions read by our lovely volunteer Eleanor.
- Glass doors and full-height windows have contrast markings.
- Some parts of the venue have low lighting.
- We have display information in audio and large print.
Hearing
- There are various listening posts throughout the museum alongside our displays
- The fire alarm has flashing lights.
- We have a hearing loop in Reception desk, meeting room, exhibition hall.
- All staff have disability awareness training.
